Teetimus the man behind Jr Gong "Affairs of the Heart"

Vican Paul Edmound, aka Teetimus, is one of the most talented and versatile singers, songwriters and producers to come out of the island of Jamaica.

He has commanded the respect of ‘A’-listers in the musical arena and is now a highly sought after Reggae, Hip-Hop, and R&B producer both on the East Coast of the United States and in Jamaica.

Teetimus’ impressive discography is as a direct result of dedication to duty and he has had the pleasure of serving up major artistes including Sean Paul and Wayne Wonder with his unorthodox style of productions. He has also worked with various international artistes and of course, on his own projects. Teetimus' story begins at a tender age as both his parents were singers. He was further influenced to take on music as his career path when he was introduced to the drums by a well known local percussionist who owned and operated Trackstar, a small recording studio a few houses down from where he lived.

As his skills at playing the drums improved, Teetimus' interest in music was stimulated and he yearned to know how to play other instruments, including the keyboard, bass and acoustic guitar. Teetimus' fascination with percussion continued throughout his youth and earned him a place in the Reggae community as one of the most talented percussionists around.

This recognised talent has enabled him to tour the world with renowned reggae artistes such as Shabba Ranks, Bounty Killer and Sean Paul (before his international stardom.) However, when he was not touring, he would be in studio working on projects or creating music he loved. Owing to his constant drive and dedication to making good music he quickly developed a reputation as a top-notch producer and songwriter contributing tracks and melodies to various albums like: Wayne Wonder (No Holding Back), Sean Paul (Trinity) Purple City (Diary Of A Summer). Various productions such as Dj Sunshine Saucey Riddim, Dj Frass River Stone Riddim, Vegas "Bruk it Down" single, Jr Gong "Affairs of the Heart" single Just to name a few.

"Composing music has always been a way for me to express and channel my personality. I never gave much consideration to becoming a recording artiste until recently, after much prodding and encouragement from my mother,” Teetimus explains.

He already holds the titles, Musician, Producer and now he adds the title ‘Artiste’. Teetimus hopes to bring his unique flava to Dancehall. He currently has singles out produced by DJ Sunshine, Dj Frass, Tj Records and his own productions.
