“Local promoters have been requesting me for a lot of shows all over the island on the strength of the Bruk It Down single, plus Europe is very interested in all the great reggae singles like a ‘A Little Love’ on the reggae album, so it’s all good right now,” Vegas said in a release.
He will be appearing on the Digicel road show in Jamaica on April 23rd. In the meantime, Mr. Vegas’ breakout hit song, ‘Bruk It Down’ soared to #4 on the ER Top Ten music charts, and also hit #3 on the FIWI Choice Top ten charts.
Last week, Mr. Vegas brought a slice of ‘Sweet Jamaica’ to Miami during this year’s Winter Music Conference. He hosted a Miami release party for the much anticipated album during the Largeup.com and Rice and Peas’ WMC party at Ricochet Lounge, Miami’s newest nightlife hotspot.
It was the only dancehall party at the famed music gathering and featured special guests and an all-star DJ lineup including Walshy Fire (Major Lazer/Black Chiney), Jillionaire (Major Lazer) and the Rice and Peas crew-Max Glazer (Federation Sound), DJ Gravy & Micro Don, DJ Maya and Orijahnal Vibez.
