Bounty Killer, fellow artistes to pay tribute to "Miss Ivy"



Internationally regarded Dancehall superstar, Bounty Killer and his industry peers look to honor the life of the Alliance leader's late mother while continuing to mourn her sudden death.

Ivy Williams, more popularly known as Miss Ivy died at hospital on Sunday after suffering from an illness. Bounty Killer announced his mother's passing, via Twitter on Sunday morning and on Tuesday, spoke publicly about his handling of this tragedy since it first happened. Additionally, several industry compatriots, including long-time rival Beenie Man and Dancehall diva, Spice publicly reached out to the "War Lord" to publicly offer their condolences.

Now, Bounty Killer has re-released a song originally recorded in 2005 in honor of his mother entitled, Mama's Love. The Chiney K produced single was unveiled on Monday as a tribute to Miss Ivy and her profound effect on Bounty Killer, his family and friends, particularly through times of adversity.

Additionally, it's being reported that a Nine-Night will be held on Monday in Bounty Killer's home neighborhood, Seaview Gardens, where several artistes are expected to pay their respects to Miss Ivy. It's unknown at this time if any funeral arrangements are being made.

Miss Ivy was survived by her eight children, with Bounty Killer being the youngest. She also had several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
